Advanced Task Manager is a free utility tool for Android that helps in killing tasks, freeing up memory, speeding up the phone, and saving battery life. The task management mechanism of the Android system has been changed after the release of the version 2.2 of the Android system. By using the Advanced Task Manager, users can stop tasks in three easy steps: long press the task that they want to stop, choose the "force stop" option, and press the "force stop" button on the application info system panel. If users want to manage running services, they can click menu->service, and it will open the system service panel where they can stop running services.
